June 18th – 24th is Carers Week. The theme this year is ‘in sickness and in health’. The week will focus on the detrimental effect caring can have on the carer’s own health and wellbeing. In conjunction with this, The Carers Support Programme and Dorset County Council, are offering a day of activities, workshops and information. This will take place at the Discovery Court Business Centre, Wallisdown Road, Poole on Monday 2nd July from 9.30 am. Places are chargeable at just £2, which includes lunch, refreshments and entry into the free raffle! Places are limited and must be booked with Kerry Course on 01305 751160.
