This bespoke 90-minute virtual workshop looks at the importance of emotional intelligence (EI); and how you can use it for more effective communication and greater well-being. Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage your own emotions, and those of the people around you.
People with a high degree of EI know what they’re feeling, what their emotions mean, and how these emotions can affect other people. These are vital skills to have for both interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships and dealing with difficult conversations. EI comes from the inside out, so we can’t chase it and we can’t buy it. However, we can train ourselves and grow the “muscles” that enable our best selves.
The workshop is practical and participative and the objectives are:
- Have a greater understanding of what emotional intelligence is.
- Recognise the impact of emotions and unconscious bias.
- Deal more effectively with situations.
The learning will be:
- How emotional intelligence can be used.
- Impact of emotions on communication and well-being.
- Process to help your emotional intelligence.
- How to avoid the drama triangle.

“Thanks for this morning. It was spot on and something I needed.”
“The way you present is so good and clear and as a result everyone gets a buzz from attending. It seems to me that having a group provides for perfect stimulation. It also helps give a lot more awareness as you see and hear other people’s responses to the same idea/question. It’s a joy that you make sure everyone has an equal participation.”
“Fantastic session! Really helped to bring together thoughts from various sources”
