This in-house event provides supervision training for those new to the role. It involves a wide range of people management skills that are required everyday in the workplace. For example, how you change from being ‘one of the team’ to being ‘the boss’ is a frequently asked question.
The aim of this two day event is to put existing knowledge into action and provide some new tools for greater flexibility in managing people. This has been adapted from our three day Supervisor’s Toolkit course
Objectives
By the end of the two days, delegates will be able to
- Apply and build on their current knowledge and skills to supervise teams
- Plan their work more effectively
- Engage their team to do their work to the agreed standard and as efficiently as possible
- Have a positive mind set to creative problem solving
