Successful innovation ensures the ability to create better ideas than your competitors and to gain a sustainable advantage. You can achieve this by learning new ways of thinking and developing pro-active problem solving. Innovation is not just about new products or services. You can improve processes, marketing methods and people management.
It is important to develop a systematic approach to problem solving, encourage initiative and improve decision making. These aid business growth and implementation of change.
“The quality of our thinking will determine the quality of our future” Edward de Bono
Consider the number of decisions that you and your team have to make every day and the impact they can have on the success of your business. Bad decisions can cost you dearly. It is not usually difficult deciding between what is right and wrong, but between what is good and best can be.
What was the best business decision you ever made? What rewards did it bring you? What was the worst business decision you ever made? What did it cost you? The difference between making the right decision and the wrong one can be critical.
The aim of this workshop is to use proven problem solving techniques to generate innovative solutions. By using real issues, not only will methods be learnt, but solutions found. These techniques can then be applied in any future problem solving. After finding solutions, decisions will need to be made on which option to use and how it can best be implemented.
