Many people tell us that doing the job is easy, but managing difficult behaviours is what makes it hard. If relationships are built on conversations, then you need to communicate effectively in any situation. These two bespoke workshops are designed to create a greater understanding of why we behave the way we do and how you can use this knowledge to gain the positive outcomes you need. You will learn how to create greater rapport and trust in your team using a variety of techniques.
Assertiveness is important for any manager, as well as in our personal lives. The skills we need to manage people are very different to those required to manage processes and machines. Despite being called the ‘soft’ skills, dealing with emotions, behaviours and attitudes can be hard, whether they are your own or others.
This course will enable you to improve your ability to be assertive, increase your confidence and the control you have over situations, thereby allowing you to have more satisfactory interactions and relationships with others. It will explore why we find difficult behaviours problematical and how we may contribute to the difficulty.
