Improving productivity is crucial for both individuals and organizations as it leads to more efficient use of time and resources. Higher productivity enhances the ability to achieve goals, increases competitiveness, and drives economic growth. For businesses, this means higher profits, better customer satisfaction, and a stronger market position. On a personal level, improved productivity can lead to greater job satisfaction, reduced stress, and more time for personal pursuits. By focusing on productivity improvements, we can foster innovation, maintain a better work-life balance, and contribute to overall societal progress.
New analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science shows that UK productivity is lower than in France, Germany and United States – and almost all of this gap is due to a lack of investment in capital and skills. Dorset is estimated to be running at 6%, which is well below the 43% for the South West as a whole. This series of four virtual workshops will enable you to identify how this figure can be improved, the barriers that are affecting your team and build strategies to overcome them, whilst maintaining health and well-being. It will help set expectations and manage performance.
If improving productivity is a priority for you, then register for the first in this series and see what it can do for you. It is ideal for managers and supervisors and is very practical and participative.
