Effective communication in difficult situations can help rebuild trust and restore relationships. In this workshop, learn practical methods of dealing with more testing human interaction. Many managers tell us that the job is easy; it is people that make it hard. Why do we find people management so problematical, and how much do we contribute to the difficulty?

The skills we need to manage people are very different to those required to manage processes and machines.  Despite being called the ‘soft’ skills, dealing with emotions, behaviours and attitudes can be hard, whether they are your own or others. Many people fear conflict and therfore avoid tackling it. Using emotional intelligence can enable you to take responsibility for gaining better outcomes. The latest research from neuroscience highlights how we can influence and persuade people.

Discover how authentic communication provides a practical method of dealing with human interaction. Having open and honest conversations will build trust, autonomy and initiative. It enables people to grow. Lack of it leads to games, conflict and politics; and bleeds energy out of productivity and self respect out of people.

This workshop will provide practical advice and guidance on dealing with these issues to enable you to more effectively communicate in difficult situations at work, home or elsewhere.
