Buy Your Ticket for a Memorable Day at the Mind Your Head Conference

When you buy a ticket for the Mind Your Head Conference, you are indulging in a day to remember. You can gain many benefits for your creativity, memory and mental potential, which you can use in all aspects of your life. It offers to be highly informative and entertaining, whilst raising funds for an important community project to improve mental well-being in Dorset.

Arriving at 10.30 am, you can enjoy meeting the speakers and other delegates over a cup of coffee in the splendour of Kingston Maurward house and garden. The conference will be opened and chaired by the remarkable Valerie Singleton, former BBC presenter and entrepreneur. She is an excellent role model of the active older person with a very positive mental attitude to business and life.

The day is about learning, so it makes sense to start by ensuring you remember what you hear. Our first amazing speaker is Dominic O’Brien, eight time world memory champion, who will entertain you with ways to enhance your memory for work, college or home life. Using audience participation, he will demonstrate his incredible capabilities and give you tips to Unleash Your Memory.

Following Dominic is Leontxo Garcia, from Spain, who will describe his research into Chess, the best gym for the mind. Discover how chess can help your children progress at school or college and how it can help your ageing mind. It can put a whole new light on the game.

You will then have the opportunity for round the table discussion with your fellow delegates and to ask the speakers questions before breaking for a delicious buffet lunch. You can choose to preview the Mind Your Head Showcase before it opens to the public. This will give you the chance to meet the Brain Cells providing mind stimulating activities in Dorset and organisations supporting mental well-being. You may prefer to just relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds before starting the afternoon.

Appropriately following lunch, Professor Michael Crawford, world eminent researcher from Imperial College, will provide Food for Thought in defining what nutrients your brain needs to function effectively and why you should consider sea food as a critical factor in your diet.

The key note speaker for the day is the legendary Tony Buzan, who created mind mapping and is a highly sort after speaker across the globe. He will challenge your perceptions on ageing and provide invaluable tips on how to increase your mental potential, whatever your date of birth. Find out how to increase your creativity and maximise the power of your mind, so you can retain an Older, Better, Still Working Brain.

The conference will finish on a surprise high note, after which you may choose to revisit the Showcase and witness the final stages of the Chess Challenge between Raymond Keene, Chess Grandmaster and 20 Dorset Chess Players.

You are very welcome to join the speakers in Weymouth later that evening to soak up the very special atmosphere and watch the closing ceremonies of the Olympics.

What a day! At just £95, it offers so much value for money, so book your ticket now at https://www.training-for-results.co.uk/events-2/event/mind-your-head-conference/
